A trip to Singapore really amazed me..I feel so great during my stay in Singapore.is my first time to Singapore.Well,even though it is a bit exhausting but it all paid off.Departed at 11pm a day before Christmas Eve, reached Yong Peng,Johor for breakfast..Yuk~~Tasteless, poor services and expensive..One plate of sizzling mee cost about RM6.I would rather pay SGD2 for mince meat mee.What to do when we did not buy some junk food to fill our stomach in the bus for the next stop in Singapore..
It was a rainy day.Our first destination was Jurong Bird Park.From there,we can view variety of species of birds which are amazing and colorful.We took a Panorail(mini monorail,air-conditioned) to take a short glance at the surrounding.After that,we walked down from the train and walked on our own.However,the sudden downpour spoilt our mood as we all ran to the shelter to prevent the sickening raindrops onto our bodies.Even though it was drizzling not long after that,we took some pix in the rain.Many of us did not bring umbrella and therefore,we all got wet.
The birdpark is too big till we did not have enough time to walk the entire park.We just took a short glance while we can.The food there not bad but a lil expensive.The cheezy hotdogs with bun cost around SGD5.50.We went to Fuji Hawk Walk to watch Birds of Prey show but the show was cancelled due to rainy days.It was a big missed to me..
However,we managed to watch Birds and Buddies show at Pools Amphitheatre as the rain has stopped.There were few amazing performance at the Pools Amphitheatre venue.One of it was the parrot singing and talking in English,Mandarin and Malay.It could count 1 to 10 in 3 different languages which was fantastic.After that,the parrot also sang "Rasa Sayang", "Happy Birthday" and more..It lasted for 30minutes.Another one was the 7 species of Pelican inlcuding the Dalmatian Pelican show.
Then, we went to Penguin Expedition to see the penguin feeding.Inside was very cold as to preserve require temperature for the penguins.We were already very cold as we all got wet.Shivering.....After that,we entered World of Darkness.We saw variety of owls in the darkThere are types of owls in 9 species.It includes Fish Owl,Snow owl,Night Herons and etc.
